In 1969, when I was very young, I moved to the US from Korea with my parents. My father was in the Navy and stationed in Korea. There he met my Japanese mother who happened to be living in Korea at the time. My family eventually settled in California, where I lived until 2005, and my father eventually retired with the Navy.
I moved to the Pacific NW in 2005, it was a big change for me, but not one I regret. Being the daughter of a military man, I learned to be self reliant and strong, this made the transition much smoother. With my multi cultural upbringing, I quickly learned to relate to a broader group of people and have a larger perspective about the world around me.
Having a military dad helped me understand the nuances of military life and how diverse, and often times difficult, it can be. I love working for a company that also understands these challenges and embraces them for the betterment of veterans.
I started my career in the mortgage industry in California in 1992. I have worked as a processor, funder, loan originator, and a mobile notary. My favorite part of this career has always been the relationships that are developed with our customers. Anyone can be taught the paperwork side of it, but the rapport with customers is a harder skill to obtain and it is my favorite part.
I love and appreciate those men and women who risk their lives so I can maintain my daily freedoms. It is my pleasure and honor to help any veteran who is interested in a VA loan; we are truly “Veterans Helping Veterans.”
I know from personal experience that buying or refinancing a home can be very stressful, scary, and confusing. That’s why we have an experienced staff that will answer all your questions. We make every effort to ensure our clients feel special and to understand their individual needs. One way we do that is by having a live person answer the phone. In today’s automated society, that’s something that rarely happens in business anymore.
I am proud to work for a company that focuses so much on our military men and women. At Creekside Mortgage, Inc., we put your needs first.
