According to an article from CNBC, the amount of people who are seeking unemployment funds is continuing to go down — And, CNBC reports that these figures, which are down by 12,000 this week – are the lowest since the beginning of the recession in 2007-2009.

These facts and figures are definitely a good sign for the economy, because with jobs, people have the ability to spend money in the economy. However, we’ve got a long way to go to see a full¬†economic recovery.

Still, as people slowly return to jobs, we should begin to see an improvement in the economy and housing markets, with housing values increasing.
