Here in Clark County, we like to keep an eye on the housing market. We like to know what our clients are facing when it comes to the market.

Right now, we’ve noticed something happening in Clark County: an inventory shortage.

Primarily in the price range of $120,000 to $220,000, there are hardly any homes available for prospective homebuyers to purchase.

This means that there are a shortage of homes in this price range on the market in Clark County, and the select homes that are available are generally in need of repair or they are being offered as a short sale—both of which are conditions that can make purchasing a longer process.

While this makes it more difficult for first time homebuyers and others who are looking for homes in this price range, the fact that these homes are being snatched up so quickly means that this portion of the housing market is thriving, which is a good thing for Clark County.
